Man's hands severed and killed near Kandy market

A man’s hands were severed and stabbed to death in front of the Kandy Central market in what appeared to be a grudge killing, Police said.

Police claimed that the victim was earlier believed to be responsible for another killing over a drug deal.

The gang who severed the hands of the man last afternoon escaped with the hands. The victim was rushed to hospital, but did not survive more than an hour.
